D.C. parents and students are standing up for D.C.'s budget Thursday by hosting "Recess at the Capitol."
Since DC Public Schools students do not have classes Thursday, multiple Board of Education members, Empower Ed, the Washington Teachers' Union, and other groups are asking families to show up to the Hart Senate Office Building at 10 a.m. to protest Congress' continuing resolution.
