Friday morning starting similar to Thursday. We have a lot of clouds and showers around, mainly south of the lake. Don't expect any heavy rain this morning, but you could run into a shower. Friday afternoon looks mostly cloudy with a few isolated t-storms, but it doesn't look like widespread storms form today. The weekend will deliver daily showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will stay in the lower 90s, but cooling showers will knock those temperatures down quite a bit when they develop. Next week will continue to bring daily showers and t-storms. We do need the rain, as much of this year has been drier than normal for southeast Louisiana.
