Meteorologist Payton Malone's New Orleans Weather Forecast says most of the upcoming week will be near 90 degrees with afternoon storms. It looks like classic June weather. Warm, humid with daily chances for rain. The week starts off in the upper 80s on Monday and Tuesday with afternoon storms. By the middle and end of the week temperatures move closer to the low 90s with a few afternoon storms. By the weekend, a high pressure area will build toward us from the southwest. This will likely make it drier and a little hotter for Saturday and Sunday. The drier and hotter forecast could last into next week.
