Thursday’s OTA session is in the books at the Saints’ practice facility, and there were some interesting developments, especially in the ongoing quarterback competition. Spencer Rattler, who worked with the first-team offense during last week’s open session, remained with the 1s again today. He completed 10 of 12 passes in 7-on-7 drills, showing confidence and decisiveness with his throws. Meanwhile, Tyler Shough continued to work with the second team, but certainly made his presence felt. Shough showed off his impressive arm strength, connecting on two deep passes during 7-on-7s. His very first throw went for a touchdown to Bub Means, and later he dropped another deep ball to Donovan Peoples-Jones.
