Starting Wednesday, Southwest Airlines is ending one of its most popular perks — free checked bags. For years, passengers who flew Southwest Airlines could travel with luggage for free. Michelle Donegan, a traveler, said, "Southwest is one of my main airlines that I travel with, so because I am a frequent flyer with Southwest, it is very unfortunate." But the perk is coming to an end Wednesday, another traveler, Terrance Hester, said, "My lady and I are traveling together, we get four checked bags, two carry-on items, two personal items, this definitely impacts further doing business with Southwest Airlines because it was a bang for your buck."
