Description
Waking up Wednesday morning, it is noticeably cooler and less humid. The stronger cold front is moving through Louisiana and is set to arrive later in the morning and afternoon. Today will be near 70 degrees with sunshine and stronger north winds. Wind gusts near 20-30 can be expected. Thursday morning will be coat weather as temperatures drop into the 40s and low 50s, but with a breeze, it'll feel like the 30s for most.
Thursday through Saturday will be sunny and cool in the 60s, with mornings in the 30s and 40s. There are no freeze concerns, but patchy frost is possible Saturday morning north of I-12.
As the upper low moves out, we lose our cold air source and with an onshore wind, temperatures and humidity begin to climb by Sunday and into early next week.
We look to remain dry through the next 7 days with models split on perhaps another chance for showers and a cold front for Thanksgiving. Stay tuned.
