Description
Tropical Depression 19 formed in the western Caribbean Thursday morning. The storm will likely become Sara in the coming days as it lingers near Central America. This will bring significant flooding rains to parts of Central America.
By this weekend, the storm will start to pull north as the ridge north of it weakens. There is a strong cold front sweeping across the Gulf next week. Depending on the timing of the front and moisture from the tropical system, some moisture could make it close to the northern Gulf and Florida by next Tuesday or Wednesday. We don't expect a landfalling system in Louisiana, but extra moisture is a possibility. Stay tuned for updates.
