Description
The rain and storms have moved east, and a cool front has moved in. This means beautiful weather all the way into the weekend. The next few mornings will be cooler, in the 40s and 50s, but afternoons will be lovely in the low to mid-70s. Expect a lot of sunshine lasting into Sunday.
Next week, we warm up with 80s returning both Monday and Tuesday. This is ahead of two things: moisture coming from a tropical system in the Gulf and a strong cold front. The moisture from the Gulf will try to make its way to us around Tuesday or Wednesday.
At the same time, our strongest cold front of the season will be racing our way. There is uncertainty on the timing of both, but right now I'm leaning toward the moisture getting close by late Tuesday as the cold front moves in. This means we could see showers and storms Tuesday before clearing our and cooling down by Wednesday. Of course, this is about 5-7 days away, so changes remain possible with the timing of both features. One thing is for sure, the end of next week looks much cooler.
