Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says the tropical wave could end up near the East Coast, possibly developing into a depression, storm or a low-end hurricane. However, models are still uncertain. If it stays on a westward track models are hinting , it will pass over the Islands through the end of the week or weekend, but no development is expected. The system could also stall and bring heavy rainfall over Florida, but changes are expected.
