Meteorologist Alexa Trischler says Cat 3 Hurricane Beryl continues to strengthen, forecast to become category 4 late Sunday. Beryl is the first hurricane of the Atlantic Hurricane season. Beryl is expected to ride along a ridge of high pressure which will keep it heading westward in the next few days.
