Description
Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says Alberto is expected to move inland in Mexico by Thursday morning.
As the center moves inland, we'll start to see the wind field collapse so that strong winds that we have from a number of our buoys offshore will also begin to weaken.
The strongest winds that are not too far from the center of Alberto are 31 mph. Rainfall will still be an ongoing issue, especially in Mexico during the day on Thursday. Rainfall through the overnight in Texas should start to weaken.
We could see some further development down in the Bay of Campeche by this coming weekend, but it looks like it will stay away from us.
Also a new Invest 92-L and upper high could bring back the mid 90s temperatures. Invest 92-L has a low potential for development, and low pressure center will move towards the Florida coast.
