There will be increased rain chances on the Gulf Coast from a tropical system that could form and move towards Mexico. Invest 90L is now over the Atlantic off the East Coast. NHC maintains a low chance for development in the next several days as it will remain offshore. The NHC has increased the chance for development in the Bay of Campeche. This has been indicated by models over the last several days. The upper pattern over the Gulf looks to keep this feature well south as it eventually moves in to the east coast of Mexico next week, possibly as a more organized tropical system. A lot of the tropical moisture in the SE Gulf may be drawn toward this system, and remain to our south. No threats to us.
