The Slidell Police Department is searching for a man who fled from officers on Thursday with an unrestrained infant in the front seat of his car. An officer saw 26-year-old Emanuel Henry speeding on Old Spanish Trail with the infant unrestrained in the front seat. Police say that the officer was able to catch up to Henry at the foot of the Twin Spans and pull him over. According to Slidell PD, Henry was initially cooperative, but when the officer found out that he had warrants for his arrest, he asked him to step out of the vehicle. The officer asked Henry multiple times to get out of the car and not to take off on him, but Henry decided to speed off.
