This morning was even colder than first thought, as both sides of the Lake, including the metro area, saw lows in the 40s! 49° at MSY and 43° at ASD (Slidell). Another gorgeous sunny afternoon with a slightly warmer daytime high in the mid and upper 70s. Gradually our humidity has been on the rise, which will continue through the rest of the week and weekend as surface winds have come back off the Gulf. Still nice on Wednesday, but a bit more of a humid feel by Thursday and continuing through the weekend. Big events coming up starting Thursday with the Zurich Classic and Jazz Fest. We look to remain dry, just warm and humid. An isolated shower is possible Sunday, but looking at a 30-40% chance Monday with an upper disturbance and weak cold front.
