Description
Meteorologist Alexandra Cranford has the forecast at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024
Warmth and humidity are the main weather features this week. More clouds are around, too, and that will be the trend through the weekend. Temperatures will continue to rise a little. We'll reach the middle 80s at the end of the week. The chance of rain stays slim, although a stray shower or sprinkles look possible, mainly on Thursday.
This weekend brings a warm set-up on Saturday, along with a few isolated showers. The main rain event will come on Sunday as a cold front moves in. Right now, we're expecting scattered showers and perhaps a couple of thunderstorms. The severe risk looks low at this time, and rain totals may be less than an inch. Rain should end on Sunday evening.
