Description
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Three people living in a "makeshift homeless encampment" in a wooded area of Jefferson Parish were discovered to be shot and killed Wednesday morning, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto said.
Lopinto would not give information on the victims but he said they were not all male.
"It's an apparent homicide at this point," said Lopinto. "We have three victims deceased from apparent gunshot wounds."
