Description
A freeze warning is in effect for parts of the river and bayou parishes from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. Monday morning. Freezing temperatures are also expected on the Northshore.
The freeze will mean temperatures in the lower 30s on the Northshore and west/southwest of the lake - protect plants, pets and people overnight.
The Southshore of Lake Pontchartrain will see temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s - protect pets and people overnight.
After the freezing Monday morning for some, we're in for quiet and pleasant weather this week with a gradual warm-up. Monday afternoon looks gorgeous with sun and high temperatures near 60. Monday night patchy frost could form north and west of the lake. South of the lake temperatures will drop to about 40.
