The Zulu Queen has arrived! The Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club announced Krewe of Zulu’s Queen-Select for 2024 with an unveil as A. Angélique Roché arrived at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport Sunday afternoon. Roché, a St. Roch resident, descends from Zulu royalty, she is the daughter Alvin Alphonse Roché Jr. and Queen Zulu 1996 Rose A. Lee Roché. She also joined the Zulu Court at a young age, she was part of the Zulu Royal Court of the late King Roy E. Glapion Jr. and Queen Desire Glapion-Rogers for the 2000 Carnival season.
