Description
Meteorologist Payton Malone has a look at the New Orleans Weather Forecast.
Friday, St. Patrick's Day, features rain and a strong cold front. The timing will be through the morning and early afternoon. Any morning/midday events could deal with heavy rain. There is a low risk for a few strong storms including damaging winds and one or two tornadoes. At times rain could be heavy and when it is all wrapped up most places see between 1-2 inches. By late afternoon things begin to dry and temperatures fall quickly into the 50s by Friday evening.
Clouds will likely stick around this weekend as temperatures drop even more. 50s for highs both Saturday and Sunday! A developing Gulf disturbance may bring back rain chances for Monday with the cool air hanging around into early next week.
