Description
A couple of late season storms could become hurricanes - tropical storm Lisa and Tropical Storm Martin. Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin has the information.
It's November 1, and there are two tropical storms in the Atlantic basin. Lisa formed Monday in the Caribbean Sea, then Martin formed Tuesday morning in the far north Atlantic. Both may become hurricanes; neither is a threat to the Gulf Coast.
Tropical Storm Lisa is in the Caribbean Sea. It is moving westward and strengthening. It could become a hurricane before a landfall in Central America near Belize on Wednesday. It will weaken after moving inland.
