Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin has the latest model trends on TD 13. Invest 91 was upgraded to Potential Tropical Cyclone 13 in the southeastern Caribbean near the coast of Venezuela. While it remains below the criteria for a depression or storm, it is expected to strengthen an impact interests in the ABC Islands and northern South America. Model guidance has been consistent with the westerly motion to continue as it approaches central America late this weekend or early next week. An upper high to its north will keep it along this westerly path and block it from the Gulf of Mexico.
