Description
Wednesday morning's tropical update shows both Invest 91L and TD 12's progress in the Atlantic. Meteorologist Alexandra Cranford has the forecast.
Tropical Depression Twelve is way out near Africa. It is expected to stay a depression for another day or two before upper level winds disrupt it. It will stay out over open waters.
Invest 91-L is a tropical wave approaching the Windward Islands and southern Caribbean Sea. It has a high chance of developing later this week as it moves across the extreme southern Caribbean near South America. It is expected to eventually move into Central America next week. A blocking high pressure center to its north will keep it on its westerly track and will confine it far south of us. It is not a threat to the Gulf Coast.
