Hurricane Ian has re-formed and is taking aim on the Carolinas after devastating Florida. Ian has emerged over the Atlantic just off the coast of Cape Canaveral. The storm has reorganized into a hurricane and is projected to make landfall near Charleston, SC Friday evening as a category 1 hurricane. It will produce surge, high winds and heavy rain. The storm is expected to move into the Smoky Mountains in eastern North Carolina this weekend.
