Florida Governor Ron DeSantis welcomed news of the Cajun Navy coming to provide relief in the wake of Hurricane Ian. Organizers say they've already rescued more than a dozen victims.
A Cajun Navy spokesman said the group was pre-positioned in Florida so they could help immediately as soon as conditions warranted.
