Meteorologist Alexandra Cranford tracks Ian on Sunday evening, September 25, 2022. As of late Sunday, Tropical Storm Ian is getting slightly better organized in the center of the Caribbean Sea. Its winds did not strengthen as predicted on Sunday likely due to dry air to its west and north, plus its tilted structure. We'll have to see how more dry air across the eastern Gulf will impact the system when it gets there.
