The Louisiana Department of Health is reporting four new monkey pox cases in the state, that brings the total case count to 234. The majority of those cases are in the Southeast region that includes Orleans, Jefferson and Plaquemines Parishes. In an effort to mitigate a surge of the virus, the Department of Health will be hosting a vaccination clinic in the French Quarter.
