Description
A hot, sunny and mainly dry week is ahead of us. High pressure will strengthen just to our west. This will allow us to heat up, and it will squash our chance for rain. One interesting note will be the northeast wind around the high pressure. This setup will drag in drier air from the north, so humidity should drop a little by Tuesday and Wednesday.
By midweek, temperatures will be soaring to the lower and middle 90s in the afternoons. We're expecting high temperatures around 93 or 95 on Wednesday and Thursday. That would put us within a degree or so of records.
By the end of the work week and weekend temperatures will return back to the low 90s.
