2 tropical waves in the Atlantic being watched by the National Hurricane Center in the Tuesday 10 a.m. tropical update. The leading wave is the one that grabs most peoples attention.
At the peak of hurricane season, we have no named storms in the Tuesday morning tropical update. Meteorologist Payton Malone has the update.
No threats in the tropics...we've enjoyed that this hurricane season and that continues through this week.
There are two tropical waves in the Atlantic being watched by the National Hurricane Center. The leading wave is the one that grabs most peoples attention as it's about 3-5 days away from nearing the Caribbean Islands. Models aren't really aggressive with developing the tropical wave, but it has a low chance to organize some. It's a large tropical wave and that means the wave might be too large to come together before it runs into the islands this weekend. Overall, something to watch, but not currently a big concern. Of course we'll keep an eye on it into next week.
