Earl currently forecast to become the first major hurricane of the season. Danielle and Earl continue as our only named storms in the Atlantic with no direct impacts to land. Models are picking up on another eastern Atlantic tropical wave to develop in the coming days, but it too should remain out to sea. Another low potential system now highlighted by the NHC is not being depicted by models for development once over the tropical Atlantic. So far the season remains below average and let's hope that continues!
