We have ended our streak of no named storms in the Atlantic to 60 days when Tropical Storm Danielle developed today in the north-central Atlantic. While forecast to also become our first hurricane of the season, it doesn't appear to threaten land. Two other areas being highlighted by the NHC for potential development in the coming days, also not a threat to the US! Invest 91 has been struggling with wind shear and dry air and while models do curve before reaching the US Easy coast, the GFS and Euro differ as to when that will occur.
