Description
The first private TER trais, operated by the Franco-German Transdev group, have begun services between Marseille and Nice, on a line formerly operated by the SNCF, the culmination of a competitive bidding process initiated in 2018 by the southern Paca region. The railway unions voiced their disagreement during a demonstration at Marseille Saint-Charles station: "The issues at stake at the moment are the financing of the railways.
