A Palestinian tribe in West Bank's Hebron denies media reports it was ready to break off from the Palestinian Authority and sign a peace deal with Israel as a separate emirate. "We, the al-Jaabari tribe, affirm our total disavowal and strongly denounce the actions of an individual who is neither known to our tribe nor resides in Hebron," says head of the tribe, referring to reports that tribe members issued a statement pledging peace with Israel.
