Three owners of flats rented near the Old Port of Marseille, in two dilapidated buildings whose spectacular collapse in 2018 caused eight deaths, have been sentenced to prison terms to be served at home under electronic tagging.
"We wanted these people to spend some time in prison, to really understand the message," reacts Imane Said-Hassane, the son of one of the victims of the tragedy.
