A woman is dead and another person injured after a fire at a home early Friday morning in Longmont, fire officials said. The fire started at a home behind a business on Highway 119 and County Road 7 just before 3:40 a.m., according to Mountain View Fire Rescue. Crews arrived on scene and found the home fully involved. It took crews 20 minutes to get the fire knocked down and several hours to put the fire out due to the amount of combustible materials inside, aid Rick Tillery with Mountain View Fire.
