Description
An Arapahoe County District Court judge has ordered the Aurora Police Department to release the full body camera video from officers involved in a May 2024 fatal shooting.
For months, 9NEWS sought body camera footage from the officers who surrounded Kilyn Lewis. One officer shot and killed Lewis, who was unarmed. The officer incorrectly believed Lewis was reaching for a gun.
The Aurora Police Department has not released the complete footage from the officers' body cameras.
9NEWS sued to obtain the complete recordings.
