The large wildfire in Aude, southern France, has burned through 2,000 hectares of forest near Narbonne since yesterday, mobilising 1,000 firefighters and 14 aircraft, according to Bruno Retailleau. "We absolutely need to contain the fire quickly, as we're already facing three new outbreaks: one in the Var, another in the Bouches-du-Rhône, and one near the A69 in the Aude," adds the Interior Minister during a visit to Chartres alongside François Bayrou.
