The Lord Mayor of the City of London welcomes "a real reset" in relations with France following Britain's exit from the EU, as the city prepares to host a banquet for President Emmanuel Macron during his three-day state visit. "We're very happy that there's a real reset in relation to relations with France over the course of the last year or so, and that's really delightful to see the opportunities that that presents," says mayor Alastair King who acts as the global ambassador for the UK's financial services in his role overseeing the "Square Mile" in the historic heart of the city.
