"It's magical!" exclaims future ISS resident Sophie Adenot as she savours the black garlic and smoked vanilla braised beef, delicately shredded by Anne-Sophie Pic, who meticulously arranges it in front of her. In the kitchens of the Parisian restaurant run by the three-Michelin-starred chef, the astronaut samples one of the festive menus she will take aboard the International Space Station next year to celebrate special occasions.
