The water level in the Baitings Reservoir in the British county West Yorkshire is at its lowest as the UK is hit by its third heatwave this year. Local water company, Yorkshire Water, has imposed the first hosepipe restriction in the country this year, barring more than 5 million households across the Yorkshire region from watering the garden, washing their car or filling a paddling pool.
