The mayor of Carnac (Morbihan) expressed his "ecstatic joy" and "pride as a Breton for having contributed" to the inclusion of the Carnac megaliths and the shores of Morbihan, a vast ensemble that includes the famous menhir alignments of the Breton town, on the UNESCO world heritage list. SOUNDBITE
