Hundreds of Venezuelans swept up in Donald Trump's immigration dragnet return to Venezuela after being abruptly freed from a maximum-security Salvadoran jail as part of a prisoner swap, ending a months-long high-profile ordeal.
"We handed over [to the US], in exchange, ten mercenaries," says Venezuela's Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello on the tarmac of the airport near Caracas.
