The Russian-held Ukrainian port city of Mariupol now finds itself over 140 kilometres (87 miles) from the frontline, but the scars from a relentless siege three years ago, which saw thousands killed and tens of thousands flee as Moscow took hold of the city, leave the remaining residents ill at ease as long as the offensive continues north.
