President Donald Trump says the U.S. knows where Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding during the Israel-Iran conflict but doesn’t want him killed “for now.” Trump on Tuesday urged Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” as the five-day conflict escalates. Associated Press reporter Matthew Lee says that the move could be an effort to get Khamenei to negotiate. “I don't know that it's an empty threat, but it's certainly a powerful one and one that is designed to strengthen an already strong hand that the U.S. has now that the Israelis have taken it upon themselves to go in and hit these nuclear sites,” Lee said. Trump says he’s looking for “a real end” to the conflict and a “complete give-up” of Iran’s nuclear program. Israel believes its bombardment can deal a permanent blow to Iran’s nuclear program. Iran insists its program is peaceful.
