Description
June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, and one central Indiana nonprofit spent Saturday bringing awareness through a motorcycle ride.
Dozens of bikers joined together at Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis in Fishers for Building a Refuge's "Rock n Ride for Hope," a day full of riding and live music – but most importantly, a time to talk about men's mental health.
While some may say a motorcycle ride is a "manly thing," this ride is breaking that stereotype.
"I wanted to do this because I care, my family cares, my kids care, and I know there are people out there that need it and we try to create environment like this that (is) not as intimidating," Brandon Leum said.
