A driver killed in a wrong-way crash in Denver early Sunday morning had eluded troopers who tried to pull them over near Mead, according to Colorado State Patrol. CSP initially saw the grey Chrysler van traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 near Mead just before 3 a.m. The van nearly struck a trooper who then attempted to make a traffic stop, according to CSP.
