Several fire departments were called to a house in the 900 block of Becky Drive, located west of Laver Road, in Mifflin Township around 6:50 a.m. for a reported fire and explosion. Firefighters arrived and saw that the house was engulfed in flames. A man and a woman were found outside the home. Officials said the man suffered extensive burns and the woman was not injured. The man received medical care from a unit at the scene. His condition is not known at this time.
