Heat Index will reach 100 degrees during the afternoon each day. Extreme Heat Watches have been replaced with Heat Advisories for Sunday through Tuesday as temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s with heat index values near or over 100 in the afternoon. These alerts may be extended into Wednesday as well. A "Heat Dome" is taking shape over a large part of the eastern United States going into next week. This is a large area of high pressure which will allow for mainly sunny skies, but also hot temperatures. Across Ohio, temperatures are expected to soar into the 90s by Sunday, and we will continue to see high temperatures in the middle 90s for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
