Hillsborough County deputies say they're investigating after a woman shot and killed her handyman during a physical fight overnight in Tampa. Officials responded to calls at 12:25 a.m. Thursday on Jeanal Place near North Ola Avenue. They arrived to find a man dead inside the home and a woman hurt outside. In an update, Sheriff Chad Chronister said the fight began when the woman tried to evict the handyman she had been housing for the past six months. He reportedly became "irate" and began physically attacking the woman. The sheriff did not share her age but described her as "fragile" and "elderly."
