Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after finding one person injured and another dead following reports of a shooting, according to officials. Officials responded to calls at 12:25 a.m. Thursday to the 500 block of Jeanal Place. They found a woman outside the home with a lower body injury, and a man dead with upper body trauma inside the home, according to a news release. Detectives said they learned the two were involved in a fight that escalated to a shooting.
