Evacuations and some road closures remain in place due to wildfires burning in the Columbia River Gorge. Interstate 84 reopened early Thursday morning after it was closed for about 10 hours between Hood River and The Dalles due to the Rowena Fire. Highway 30 remains closed in both directions, one mile west of The Dalles. In Washington, SR-14 is back open Thursday after a stretch was closed due other fire activity.
